He cofounded Embedify LLC, a market- ing services firm for embedded computing businesses, and an active member of the VITA Standards Organization. His background includes product marketing, sales, business development, and strategic planning. Jerry earned his BS in Computer Engineering at Iowa State University and his MS in Computer Engineering at San Jose State University.

She earned her BA in Journalism from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and has worked as a freelance reporter and online editor.

    Terri Thorson, VITA Technologies senior editor (columns), has been in high-tech worldwide media relations, strategic public relations, and marketing and corporate communications since 1988. She is a faculty member at the University of Phoenix. Terri received her BA in Journalism and Public Relations and a Masters of Mass Communication from Arizona State University.
